Sun 19 Jul 2015: A ROUGH GUIDE TO ABINGER (8miles)

No the 'Rough Guide' isn't me ! It's the title of the walk ! We visit several places called Abinger starting with wonderful views of the North Downs as we cross Abinger Roughs . We drop down to Abinger Hammer and then have lunch at the Volunteer in the pretty hamlet of Sutton Abinger . In the afternoon we cross fields around the Abinger Hatch area and back to Abinger Roughs where we started .

A very scenic walk taking in ponds. We visit Church Town and the grave of Walker Miles 'founding father of Ramblers Groups'. Lunch is at the cosy Haycutters Inn. We will also discover a very old tree indeed.

A leisurely summers evening 4.5 circular walk starting at Bourne Hall in Ewell with a little bit of history thrown in! Passing Ewell Castle, heading into Nonsuch & Cheam Parks & back via Nonsuch mansion. Drinks after at the Spring in Ewell.

A gentle circular route to the south of Crondall. The village is on gentle slopes of the North Downs range. (Please let me know if interest in lunch so I know how many to cater for)

Fri 21 Aug 2015: THE STAR & ASHTEAD COMMON (4miles)

Summer evening 4 mile circular walk exploring Ashtead Common national nature reserve. Followed by drinks at The Star pub Malden Rushett with live music by 'Supercollider' starting at 20:30.

Sun 30 Aug 2015: THE HIDDEN SECRETS OF DORKING (8miles)

Today we discover some bit's of Dorking even the locals don't know about . The Cotmandene , Devil's Hollow , and the Nower with it's Temple . Lunch is at the Prince of Wales in Westcott . We return along the Pilgrim's way with great views of Dorking .
